Contractual Missions

The Participation Fund ensures the operational management of the not-for-profit Belgian Bankers Academy, active in the banking and financial sectors, essentially abroad. Its activities are focused on four branches: Consultancy & Audit, Training Courses, Banking Simulations and Microfinance.

The Brussels Guarantee Fund’s mission consists of providing credit organisations, by means of the payment of a premium, a part of the guarantees that they require from SMEs and the self-employed for the granting of business credit in the Brussels-Capital Region. Since July 2008, the Participation Fund has been managing the back-office part of the BGF.

The Participation Fund ensures the management and the operational monitoring of the debenture launched for the general public by the Reduction of Overall Energy Cost Fund (FRCE). With the help of the collected means, the FRCE offers advantageous loans for the financing of structural measures in order to promote the reduction of the overall energy costs in the most deprived housing. Furthermore, the Participation Fund provides a credit management system enabling the loans to be monitored.

The Participation Fund manages certain products of the PMV-kmo division of the Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen. Thanks to its know-how and to a specific IT application, the Fund can manage all the payments and movements of those PMV products.

The Federal Participation and Investment Company (SFPI) runs the centralised management of the holdings of the federal authorities, co-operates with the authorities on specific projects and conducts its own investment policy in the interest of the Belgian economy. The SFPI has commissioned the Participation Fund for the modernisation and management of its IT infrastructure.
